There is one thing I can tell you for which I am more certain of than anything else when it comes to getting to your perfect health, weight or state of mind. One thing that can make your journey back to health easier than you ever thought possible.Elimination of stress in all of it’s disguises. The most prolific of these disguises isn’t usually that disguised. Other people and the relationships we have with them tend to be the predominant form of stress for most people. In my transformation I have had to come to grips with the concept that some people aren’t always going to see eye to eye. Some people are not going to like you. Some people may resist your change and others may support it but not in ways that you think they should be, but in the best way they know how. It always helps me to remember that we are all tied to the same universal energy and it matters not what we label it. The energy that grows your fingernails is the same energy that grows mine and that little boy around the other side of the globe. We are all connected to that same divine energy. The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. We are literally acknowledging the divinity in the other person (even if we think their physical attitude sucks). This always helps to remind me that everyone, including ourselves, is doing the best they can and others may not agree with our actions and we may not agree with theirs but we are all powered by the same fuel, we are all connected and even if you find yourself in conflict with another and this is creating stress, you can always stop and acknowledge the divine in them and realize that we are more than our physical bodies.
So the next time that guy cuts you off in traffic and you’re ready to ram him off the road, or your spouse or loved one lays into you for whatever reason, or your child takes that sharpie to your living room wall, stop for a moment, and remember that we are all connected and at least give them a silent Namaste…at least until you can collect yourself and realize that you’ll be ok and that a good primer will go right over that permanent marker. All is well.
