Probably not. Nobody ever taught you how to walk either. Fact probably is, nobody ever taught you how to do a lot of things that there may be a better way to do (including eating). I know when I started my weight release journey the idea of running was right up there with giving my eyeball a paper-cut and putting lemon juice eye drops in right after.
Well, over 100lbs later, I actually enjoy going for a run every now and then even though the vast majority of my exercise is simply walking, but there are better ways to run.
